A CASE FOR SPACE
In a summer stupor, we’re daydreaming of a place beyond reality with extraterrestrial friends and interplanetary love, reaching out across the galaxy in search of something new. Former US military officials recently testified in congressional hearings, talking about crashed UFOs or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena and alien bio-parts in our possession, maybe. And while it didn’t tell us too much we didn’t already know or suspect, it did refuel our love affair with what might be, beyond. There are thought to be between 100 and 200 billion galaxies in the observable universe, and what’s not to love about the idea that some other beings might pay little-ole-us a visit? Teach us a thing or two because they’re really doing it right, living peacefully in perfect harmony. So, if they come for a visit, we’ll keep calm and say “please come inside, make yourself at home.”
