ICE CAPADES

FROZEN VIBES AND WINTRY HUES KEEP THINGS COOL.

Time to pull out all the blankets, make that giant pot of soup, and lean all the way into the polar vortex that is February. We're writing from NYC where it is as we say, BRICK bordering on OH NAH, so excuse us our icy little moment. To those of you who reside in perma-fair weather (heyyyy, LA!) bear with us and come along for the wintry ride. We’re going cool, winter shades of white, silver and blue, Joni’s River, Rudolph’s Bumble, the boots with the furrrr, Michelle Kwan in ‘98 (in Vera Wang), Tilda as the White Witch, full on frostbite, drooping trees heavy with snow, #coldgirlmakeup, the whole thing.

Remember in the movie Frozen’s seminal “Let It Go” when after a dramatic key change, a magical makeover and the realization that she is the ruler of her own, ice-power-created domain, Elsa reaches peak, hip-swishing surrender at the finale, declaring “the cold never bothered me anyway” with a smirk and a wink from her balcony and all the self-assuredness of a true queen? That’s the vibe. We’ve got the goods.
