Delicate branches in bloom and sublime white irises wrap around the whole of this egg-shaped paper lantern, and come to life when illuminated. Simple, special, one-of-a-kind.

The Asano series designed by Shigeru Uchida, are washi paper lanterns made in the Gifu prefecture of Japan by a factory making lanterns for over 90 years. Boxed and flat-packed, the shade is the perfect blend of bamboo and rice paper.
