Along with enamel, Riess has produced iron pots since 1550. This 7.8" pot is best for gas cooktops or open flame, great for frying meat or potatoes, or for crunchy crêpes. Please note these iron pans must be baked in the oven before use.
Family-owned for over 9 generations, Riess is an Austrian pan company known worldwide for its high-quality enamel-ware made in a carbon-neutral factory. Each piece is dipped in porcelain enamel and fired after being pressed out of iron making them durable, and antibacterial with heat resistance up to 450˚ C. Each is induction compatible due to its material make-up and is fast cooking as enamel-ware requires less heat and warms evenly and quickly (which also saves energy).
