If the surface develops scratches use fine steel wool to gently buff out the scratch going in the same linear or rotational direction the product has. Please note that this will also slightly brighten and polish the material changing the luster of this area so be prepared to do this to the entire surface for a consistent finish. Clean with dish soap when finished. If an even brighter finish is desired or there are some darker stains that are difficult to remove, you can use a metal polish such as Maas or a polishing cloth to help restore its shine.
