What do you see? This rug will be woven by a group of artisans who reside in a village just outside of Beni M'rirt which is located within the Middle Atlas Mountains. The traditional Beni M’rirt rug contains a thick knot which allows for their rugs to feel extra plush. Made up of 100% wool and natural dyes, this wool was dyed utilizing a blend of florals & spices. The varying blue hues come from a proprietary washing technique. The hand-knotted section to tell a beautiful story of color & symbolism and this abstract, subtle design is reminiscent of a Rorschach test - saying something different to every eye.
