Earthy and sensuous. This rug will be woven by a group of artisans who reside in a village just outside of Beni M'rirt which is located within the Middle Atlas Mountains. Made up of 100% wool, the chocolate hue is dyed using a mix of local plants. The traditional Beni M’Rirt rug contains a thick knot which allows for their rugs to feel extra plush. This traditional M'Rirt style has been modernized by incorporating unique recessed Flatweave lines which creates a mesmerizing dimension to the rug. This design is meant to reflect the surrounding landscape of the region; from rolling hills to deep ravines.
