Kaolin is one of those - stark white, elegantly rimmed and perfectly sized to hold a roast chicken, steamed fish or any other culinary creation. The 13" platter is cast in solid porcelain, giving it a weightier presence on the table, and is made by an artisan workshop in Vermont, using a custom porcelain clay mix.
