Oil lamp basic how-to:

·      Remove chimney and burner, fill chamber with a clean lamp fuel (use a funnel!)

·      Replace burner and allow the wick to absorb oil for at least an hour (so you're        burning fuel, not the naked wick)

·      Gently turn up the wick with the dial and light carefully, replace chimney. VIOLA!

·      To extinguish, turn down the dial and blow through the chimney until the flame's out
