Obon is a collection of three tables by Simone Bonanni inspired by the ancient, earthy, irregular material: terracotta. With its origins lost in the mists of time, terracotta is the starting point and material of archaeological finds all over the world. The design is the result of a patient process of combining shapes and volume for a graphical purity that blends into the structure of ceramics for a unique mix of new and antique. Obon tables are ceramic with a glazed top, each handcrafted and unique with slight variations in size and finish.
