Perfect angles. Originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1957 - the same project for which he designed his iconic Egg chair - the AJ Lamp is among Arne Jacobsen’s most well-loved creations. Originally, the product family comprised a floor lamp, a wall lamp, a table lamp and a smaller table lamp, and a table lamp designed to be attached to a table. The fixture emits downward directed light. The angle of the screen can be adjusted approximately 90 degrees up and down to optimize light distribution. The interior of the shade is painted white to ensure a soft comfortable light.
