I own two homes—one in DUMBO, Brooklyn, and one in Pound Ridge, NY—with multiple living rooms, a total of eight bedrooms, and yet the only place in either of these homes where I can find some personal time is the DUMBO hallway bathroom or the Pound Ridge basement bathroom. The bathroom is the only place you can really own in your own house, and that’s where you can find me.
