An iconic showstopper, not for the faint of heart. We're downright giddy over this bubble explosion, based on the original Taraxacum created in 1960 by master Achille Castiglioni. The Taraxacum 88 is the 1988 update that includes a mixture of deep incandescent lighting and cool, polished aluminum triangles. This decorative hanging light fixture features 20 pressed and polished aluminum equilateral triangles fitted with electrical sockets. The sockets are filled with 60 clear 25-watt globe lamps, invoking the bloom of a dandelion. The suspension fixture provides direct and reflected incandescent light. The finish is transparent. The effect is pure razzle dazzle.
