Star gazer. Foldability is the line of lamps by Kyla McCallum, a Scottish paper artist and set designer who has been working with origami for over 10 years. Kyla creates bespoke installations, artworks, products, set design, paper art and sculptures inspired by origami and geometry, from her studio in East London. During her studies in Cologne in 2007, Kyla discovered her obsession for origami. She launched Foldability in her East London studio in 2009 after graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 2013 with a Masters in European Design. The company has become known for creating precision formed designs which are visually unique with an element of hand-craftsmanship.
